As Ben has said if you don't have an enlarger you will not get consistent results shot in a camera. I have a dedicated old condenser enlarger that I use just for testing. Spend $50 and get an old enlarger and then you can satisfy the desire to test for yourself. All you need is an enlarger with a suitable lens and a good timer.
If you cannot do it properly get Fred to do the test for you -- it is that important. The whole system is dependent on accurate base results and done in a camera just doesn't cut it.   |
