Although the Pilot itself does not include a “bulk erase” feature this program provides one. Tap the Category area to reveal the drop-down menu (right) and you’ll find “Delete Logs” as the last entry. Select it and the Pilot’s monthly calendar will appear (below) with the heading, “Delete all logs before...,” and today’s date highlighted. If you want to delete everything you’ve recorded before today, just tap the “Today” button.
If you want to erase everything done before the 1st, for example, but preserve all the records saved since then, tap on that date. If you want to erase everything, including things you did today, tap on tomorrow’s date. In each case a warning screen will appear and you’ll be asked to confirm any delete before it’s final. To abort the delete function and return to the program, tap on the “Cancel” button.
As an alternative to this “bulk erase” feature, you can HotSync to transfer your MemoPad’s contents to your desktop machine, erase the BTZSLogs records there, then HotSync again to delete those records from the Pilot’s Memo Pad.
Of course, you can also erase the log records one at a time: tap “Details” and when the dialog screen appears, tap on “Delete.” You’ll be asked to confirm that choice and offered the option of saving a copy of the record to your desktop machine the next time you HotSync.
